General Conditions of Sale

Cosmédias offers subscriptions to the following publications:

- Coiffure de Paris
- CosmétiqueMag
- Cosmétique Hebdo

The general terms of use of the websites operated by the Cosmédias group are included in the "Legal Information" section of each site.

Each subscription offer is defined in detail concerning:
- Content,
- Period of subscription,
- Possible renewal method(s),
- Price including tax.
In the case of promotional offers, the following information will also be given:
- Period of validity of the special offer,
- Parties for whom the offer is exclusively reserved.

ARTICLE 1. CHARGING RATES

1.1 - The subscription prices are indicated inclusive of all taxes unless otherwise indicated. The VAT rate for metropolitan France is 2.10%.

1.2 - All orders from any geographic zone are payable in euros, or in US dollars for certain publications

1.3 –The subscription rates are those in effect on the date of subscription. Any subsequent modification of the subscription rates has no effect on the subscription in progress.

ARTICLE 2 - VALIDATION

Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded by Cosmédias constitute proof of all transactions occurring between Cosmédias and its clientele.

ARTICLE 3 - AVAILABILITY

Our offers of products and their prices are valid as long as they are visible on the website, within the limit of available stocks.

ARTICLE 4 – MODES OF PAYMENT

Users of the site can choose from among several modes of payment for their purchases:
- Electronic payment (credit card),
- Bank transfer,
- Payment upon reception of an invoice,
- Check,
- Automatic transfer (Coiffure de Paris and CosmétiqueMag only).

In the case of payment by check, the check must be issued by a bank domiciled in France. All checks are deposited upon reception.

ARTICLE 5 - SECURITY

Our website is protected by a security system. We have adopted the SSL encryption process, but we have also reinforced all encryption processes in order to protect all sensitive data concerning modes of payment as effectively as possible.

ARTICLE 6- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content of the website, including texts, still or animated images, iconography and audio content, is the exclusive property of Cosmédias. All reproduction, copying or representation in whole or in part is expressly forbidden without the prior written approval of Cosmédias. All infractions of these stipulations constitute a violation of the laws and regulations on copyrights and can result in legal action, civil and/or penal.

ARTICLE 7- RESPONSIBILITY

The products offered on the website are compliant with current French laws and standards. Cosmédias cannot be held responsible in the case of failure to comply with legislation of the country where the product is delivered (for example in the case of the banning of certain products, etc.). It is your responsibility to verify with local authorities the possibilities for the importing and use of any products and services that you might wish to order. In case of manifest error between the characteristics of the product and its representation and/or the terms of sale, Cosmédias cannot be held responsible.

ARTICLE 8 - LITIGATION, JURISDICTION

The present contract is subject to French law. The original language of the present contract is French. French courts have sole jurisdiction. In case of litigation with professionals and/or retailers or wholesalers, the courts of Paris, France, have jurisdiction.

In compliance with the French law of 6 January 1978 on information technology and civil liberties, you have the right to access and rectify any of your personal data on this website. Through the intermediary of Cosmédias, you might receive proposals from other partner companies or associations. If you do not wish to receive such proposals, please notify us by Email or by post. Our website is also conceived to be particularly attentive to the needs of our clientele. This is one of the reasons why we use cookies. The purpose of the cookies is to indicate your presence on our site. They are used by Cosmédias solely for the purpose of improving the personalized service that we think you desire and deserve.

General Conditions of Use: Subscriber Page

Reed Business information subscribers can view and manage their subscriptions and resubscribe online. These services are available on the Subscriber Page, whose access is reserved for the webusers concerned. Two identification systems regulate access to your subscriber information:

• USERNAME: your email address.
• PASSWORD: for increased security, you must provide a password with at least six characters, which, along with your username gives you access to your Subscriber Page.
Different cases apply:

1. You visit the site for the first time. Whether you are already a subscriber or you want to subscribe to one of our publications, you have not yet created your username and password. In both cases you will be asked to provide this information after having made your first online subscription, and before any transaction on the Subscriber Page. You must provide your subscriber number to create your Subscriber Page.

2. You forgot your password. Request a new password by giving your email username. You will receive a  new password by email, which you are free to change.
3. You forgot your username. Email circ@cosmedias.fr with your subscriber number (which is printed on the envelope containing your magazine) as well as your postal address, telephone number and email.
4. You want to change your password. You can modify your password in the contact detail area of your Subscriber Page, which you can access with your username and password.
Subscriber responsibility for access codes on the Subscriber Page.

Access to the Subscriber Page is reserved to subscribers with a current subscription. Subscribers recognize that their subscription is of a personal or professional nature and they pledge to use the access codes given by Reed Business information for their personal use, and not to share those codes with other parties. Any infringement constitutes a violation of the law and copyright regulations and can result in judicial or criminal action.
The Subscriber is entirely responsible for the use of his/her access codes. Any connection to the site or transmission of information using the Subscriber's access codes will be assumed to have been done by the Subscriber. If access codes are lost, stolen or accidentally divulged, the Subscriber must change passwords immediately. If access codes are lost, stolen or used without authorization, the Subscriber assumes full responsibility.
